On the afternoon of April 15, Kim Son District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development". Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Culture and Sports .
Implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure), the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of solutions to put the Resolution into practice and achieved positive results. The district's culture and society have had clear changes.
Notably, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the campaign "All people unite to build a new countryside and civilized urban areas" have been widely deployed, creating a rapid spread, and have been actively responded to by all levels, sectors and people. The building of families, clans, villages, hamlets, streets, agencies, cultural units, communes that meet new rural cultural standards... has had a positive impact on cultural life at the grassroots level, promoting patriotic emulation movements in all fields in the district.
Up to now, Kim Son has over 90% of cultural families, 98% of cultural residential areas, 78% of cultural agencies, units and enterprises, and 100% of communes meeting new rural cultural standards according to regulations.
The cultural environment has been gradually improved, cultural institutions have been invested in with the motto: The State and the People work together to implement the criteria for new rural construction. Currently, Kim Son has 100% of communes and towns and over 98% of villages and hamlets with cultural houses, serving the needs of community cultural activities.
The whole district has over 20 art clubs and over 130 art troupes operating effectively, serving the spiritual life of the people. The district has invested in building a new community cultural park and district cultural and sports center, which will be put into use in 2023 to serve the entertainment and sports needs of the masses, creating an increasingly green, clean and beautiful landscape and urban space of Phat Diem.
The movement of physical training and sports following the example of great Uncle Ho is increasingly promoted. Over 32% of the district's population regularly practices physical training and sports. District and commune levels regularly organize physical training and sports competitions and festivals, such as: Phu Dong Sports Festival, cross-country race, traditional swimming, badminton, football, volleyball...
The work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritages and historical relics in the district has received attention and achieved important results.
At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved in 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure). At the same time, many tasks and solutions were proposed for implementation in the coming time such as: Continuing to promote propaganda work, creating changes in awareness of all classes of people; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management of culture; increasing resources and improving the quality of staff working in cultural work...
On this occasion, Kim Son District Party Committee has 1 Party organization and 2 Party members who have successfully completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023) and were commended by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW were commended by Kim Son District.

Over the past 10 years, the implementation of Resolution 33-NQ/TW in Nho Quan district has achieved many positive results, concretizing the set goals. Cultural, artistic and sports activities have been invested and developed; many traditional cultural beauties have been preserved. The patriotic emulation movement has seen the emergence of new factors, advanced examples in building and developing the socio-economy, actively working to escape poverty; backward customs and practices have been gradually eliminated.
The cultural environment has been improved, cultural institutions have been invested in, associated with the construction of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas. State management of culture has been strengthened. Mass cultural activities at the grassroots level have taken place enthusiastically, attracting a large number of people to participate. The work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values and protecting cultural heritage in the district has been given attention. Many good customs and practices of ethnic minorities have been researched, collected, and restored.
Concluding the conference, the Secretary of the District Party Committee requested that in the coming time, Party committees at all levels continue to effectively implement the contents, tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution. In particular, continue to promote propaganda work, thoroughly raise awareness and actions of Party committees at all levels, authorities, cadres, Party members and people in implementing Resolution 33-NQ/TW. Enhance the leadership role of Party committees at all levels in performing cultural and educational tasks. Strengthen State management of cultural and artistic activities, preserve and promote Vietnamese cultural identity. Pay attention to investing resources, preserving and developing folk cultural and artistic forms; focus on preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the locality.
At the conference, the District People's Committee awarded 10 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing Resolution 33-NQ/TW on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
