Opening of the Festival of Children's Houses and Children in Residential Areas in 2024

On the afternoon of August 2, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the Provincial Youth and Children's Center to organize the opening ceremony of the Festival of Children's Houses and Children in residential areas of Ninh Binh province in 2024.

The festival was attended by nearly 500 teenagers and children living in children's houses in districts, cities and children in residential areas throughout the province. They competed in the following events: Festival of excellent young propaganda teams; Table tennis and martial arts competitions for teenagers and children; English speaking contest, and Music Talent Search contest.

Festivals of children's houses and children in residential areas are organized to create a healthy and useful playground for children during the summer. Thereby, orienting and educating children to develop comprehensively in morality, intelligence, physical strength and aesthetics. At the same time, helping cadres of the Team and children's work to exchange and share experiences in activities, thereby finding good methods, forms of organization and effective ways to gather and attract young people and children.

This is also an opportunity for the Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels in the province to evaluate the quality of activities in gifted subjects at children's houses and residential areas. From there, they can propose more practical and useful programs and activities, attracting more and more children to participate in activities, bringing about useful and meaningful summers.

From the results of the competition, the Festival Organizing Committee will evaluate and select typical performances to perform at Thuy Dinh stage (Hoa Lu Ancient Town, Ninh Binh city) on the evening of August 2, 2024.
