Speaking at the opening of the session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh said: The 10th session is the last session of the 15th National Assembly term, and is a particularly large session, the largest ever.
In which, the Economic and Financial Committee, according to its assigned functions and tasks, must preside over and participate in examining many key and core contents.
Along with examining and evaluating the results of socio-economic development, finance-budget, public investment in 2025, and orienting goals, tasks, and solutions for 2026, the Session also assessed the results of implementing Resolution 16 of the National Assembly on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the 2021-2025 period and Resolution 31 of the National Assembly on economic restructuring for the 2021-2025 period.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh suggested that at this meeting, the Economic and Financial Committee and its members spend all their time studying documents, promoting a sense of responsibility, discussing deeply and thoroughly, closely following reality and the country's long-term development orientation; having clear criticism, with enough basis to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the National Assembly to consider and decide at the upcoming 10th Session.
As planned, at this meeting, delegates will examine the following contents: Report on the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, state budget, public investment in 2025 and the expected socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate, central budget allocation plan, public investment in 2026; Results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, the national 5-year financial plan and 5-year public debt borrowing and repayment, the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period, the expected socio-economic development plan, the national financial plan and 5-year public debt borrowing and repayment, the medium-term public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period; The Government's submission on adjusting the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
Delegates discussed and examined many contents of the Draft Laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Public Debt Management; Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Statistics; Draft Law on Tax Management (amended); Draft Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); Draft Law on Bankruptcy (amended); Draft Law on Amendment and Supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Prices; Draft Law on Thrift and Anti-Waste (replacement); Draft Law on Amendment and Supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Land; Draft Law on E-Commerce;...
