Khanh Hoa has a new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council elected Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, replacing Mr. Tran Quoc Nam who submitted a resignation letter.

Mr. Nguyen Khac was elected Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

On the afternoon of September 16, at the 2nd session of the 7th term for the 2021-2026 term, the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province dismissed Mr. Tran Quoc Nam from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam previously submitted a resignation letter based on personal wishes.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also dismissed Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. At the same time, elected Mr. Toan to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to replace Mr. Tran Quoc Nam.

Results of 72/72 delegates of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council attending the meeting voted to elect Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan was born on April 19, 1970, in Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province; he has a bachelor's degree in judicial law, bachelor's degree in Party building and State administration.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan used to hold the positions of Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Cam Ranh City Party Committee, Head of Organization Board of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

In March 2020, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan was elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council delegates congratulated Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan on being elected to the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

From June 2021 to June 2025, Mr. Toan held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province for the 2021-2026 term.

From July 1, 2025 to present, Mr. Toan has held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province (new) after merging with Ninh Thuan province.

Mr. Le Huyen was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh, under the Government's order, handed over the decision approving the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Le Huyen. Previously, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a Resolution on the election results of the position of Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Huyen. Mr. Le Huyen was born in 1972, hometown Hoai Nhon, Binh Dinh province, now Hoai Nhon Bac ward, Gia Lai province.
