Inauguration of a new school of more than 5 hectares following the boarding model

On January 13, in Vi Trung commune (Vi Thuy district), FPT Group held the inauguration ceremony of FPT Hau Giang Primary, Secondary and High School.

Attending the event were Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province; Mr. Tran Van Huyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province.

FPT Hau Giang Secondary School is built on a total area of ​​over 5 hectares, including: 2 lecture halls, 2 service buildings, sports training and competition hall, sports area, football field, outdoor landscape and auxiliary works. The modern classroom system fully meets the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students.

The school offers all three levels of education, enrolling approximately 5,100 students per year and creating jobs for approximately 300 teachers, administrators and staff. The school operates as a boarding school, with a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off students every day to ensure safe and convenient transportation for students.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province, said that education and training play a key role in Hau Giang's sustainable development strategy. The province aims to strive for the quality of education and training to reach a fairly good level in the region and nationwide by 2025. By 2030, 100% of the country's education and training targets will be achieved.

In that spirit, the Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee said that the official opening of FPT Hau Giang Secondary School promises to bring a "new breeze" to the province's education sector, contributing to the development of the province's education career. This project will contribute to a high-quality, modern learning environment for students in Hau Giang province and neighboring provinces, meeting the innovation requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.
