An Giang inaugurated Phu Tho Secondary School, awarded scholarships to students overcoming difficulties

On September 27, the People's Committee of An Giang province held the inauguration ceremony of Phu Tho Secondary School (over 72 billion VND). On this occasion, many students who have overcome difficulties were awarded scholarships and health insurance cards.

The Phu Tho Secondary School construction investment project was approved by the People's Committee of An Giang province with a total investment of more than 72.4 billion VND. This project was completed on the occasion of the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The investment scale includes classrooms, administrative rooms, functional rooms, library, auxiliary works, technical infrastructure and equipment.

The project is designed with modern architecture, meeting national standards, meeting teaching and learning needs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy - Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee - said that the spacious and modern school today is the result of the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, local Party committees and authorities towards the cause of education and training in general and towards the Phu Tho Secondary School project.

The Provincial People's Committee leaders requested that after the inauguration ceremony, the education and training sector continue to pay attention to arranging and training staff and teachers to ensure professional qualifications and improve the quality of teaching and learning.

On this occasion, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province - presented 20 scholarships to students who overcame difficulties to study well (1 million VND/scholarship).

Units participating in the construction of Phu Tho Secondary School donated 35 health insurance cards, worth over 22 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances.
