Training course “Business model innovation and smart AI solutions – The key to sustainable growth for startups and small and medium enterprises”

On September 9-10, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Cao Bang province coordinated with the Management Board of the High-Tech Agriculture Park of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a training course on "Innovation of business models and smart AI solutions - The key to sustainable growth for startups and small and medium enterprises". Attending the training course were Mr. Nong Thanh Than, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Director of the Center for Incubation of High-Tech Agricultural Enterprises; Representatives of a number of departments, branches, Provincial Business Associations, Investment and Startup Club, Youth Union, Women's Union, Cooperative Alliance, Farmers' Association; leaders of the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances, officials of communes and wards in charge of Science and Technology; and 50 trainees who are enterprises, cooperatives, business households, individuals, and groups of individuals with production and business activities in Cao Bang province.

The training course content includes: Concept, nature and role of innovation; Policies to promote circular economy in agriculture towards the goal of Net Zero; High-tech agriculture; Levels of innovation in the agricultural sector from traditional to high-tech towards Net Zero; creative thinking and practical tools; Searching for ideas to develop new products, levels of products; Model innovation in the context of digitalization and towards the goal of Net Zero; Designing the value ladder of products/services to the marketing funnel; Practicing innovative business model design; Introducing lean and effective AI tools for startups, evaluating new ideas, building business models and automating basic tasks of departments in the enterprise with AI.

Overview of delegates and students attending the training course

The training course aims to equip businesses, cooperatives, business households and individuals in Cao Bang with knowledge on business model innovation and AI technology application in production and business activities. Thereby, helping students improve their management capacity, optimize operations and increase competitiveness. The course also promotes digital transformation, contributing to sustainable development for local businesses. At the same time, it creates an environment for connection, experience sharing and cooperation among students. This is a practical step to support local businesses to adapt to digital economic trends and innovation.

This is a training course deployed within the framework of implementing Plan No. 349/KH-UBND dated February 14, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the "Project to support the national innovation ecosystem to 2025" in Cao Bang province in 2025. Especially in the context that the whole country is resolutely implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthrough development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution 68 dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.
