On the morning of July 17, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) and the Provincial Red Cross Society organized activities under the program "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood" for the 12th time in 2024.

From early morning, the Provincial Steering Committee for Blood Donation and the Provincial Red Cross organized a mobile parade and propaganda about the Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood. The parade went through the main route from the 25B Conference Center ( Thanh Hoa City) to Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery to propagate to all classes of people about the role of blood, congenital hemolytic anemia, blood clotting disorders and blood donating work.
The Provincial Red Cross Society and the Red Journey volunteers - Connecting Vietnamese blood visited the heroic martyrs at Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery.
The Provincial Red Cross Society and the Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood volunteers offered incense to the graves of heroic martyrs at Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery.
At Ham Rong Martyrs' Cemetery, the parade offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to policy households with difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa City.
Next, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Mobilization of Donors and the Provincial Red Cross presented gifts to 20 policy households with difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa City; each gift was worth 600,000 VND, including 500,000 VND in cash and gifts.
Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Thanh Hoa Branch presented gifts to disadvantaged pediatric patients at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital.
On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Thanh Hoa Branch to give gifts to 20 disadvantaged pediatric patients at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital. The total support cost was 12 million VND sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Thanh Hoa Branch.
These are activities within the framework of the program "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese blood" in 2024.
The launching ceremony of the 12th “Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood” Program in 2024 and honoring outstanding blood donors and receiving blood from voluntary blood donors will be held at the 25B Conference Center on the morning of July 18.
