Previously, PC02 discovered that KTV restaurant Richy 7 (No. 7, Street No. 5, Him Lam residential area, Tan Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City) had signs of organizing disguised prostitution and trading N2O gas (laughing gas).
Investigators determined that Chen Ci Fu recruited many attractive female attendants who were willing to sell sex when requested. To deal with the authorities, this group frequently changed the time and location of transactions, forced the attendants to move through many intermediary points, did not receive Vietnamese customers, and set the price for prostitution from 5 to 8 million VND.
On June 27, PC02 destroyed the above-mentioned den, arrested and prosecuted Chen Ci Fu, Chen Hung Kai (Taiwanese nationality), Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong and Nguyen Thi Thuy Kieu, for prostitution brokerage.
At the same time, the authorities seized many laughing gas cylinders. Expanding the investigation, the police continued to seize more than 756 N2O cylinders, many pump nozzles and rubber balloon shells.
The investigation results determined that Chen Ci Fu was the leader in the trading of laughing gas, illegally profiting hundreds of millions of dong. PC02 has strengthened the case file, further prosecuted Chen Ci Fu and Vu Thi Loan for trading in prohibited goods to handle according to the law.
