After the album Turn It On won many prestigious awards, the singer Behind a Girl decided to release the MV for this single. This is the 4th MV that the male singer invested heavily in, after Heyyy, Gia Nhu and Ai Ma Biet Duoc which left many emotions.
Soobin said the inspiration for this MV came from the desire to recreate a beautiful love, despite going through many ups and downs, storms, but the lovers still believe and give their all in the present so as not to have regrets.
According to the male singer: "I wrote this song in 2018 but I don't know why I kept it there. It was only when I made the album and was convinced by the producer SlimV that I took it out and completed it." SlimV was also the one who added many impressive details to the demo to create this hit.
Soobin also "revealed" the lyric "Anh do nhe, cin mat, quay" which originally came from a moment of improvisation by Binz when listening to the demo, and because he found it so suitable, he decided to leave it in, contributing to the uniqueness of Dancing In the Dark.
This song also trended on social media when the talented BB Tran , Quoc Thien , and Duy Khanh "competed" to win the female lead role for the MV and danced with Soobin. During Quoc Thien's live concert SkyNote , the situation where BB Tran lost her shoe sole while dancing with the male singer also spread quickly on social media.
In the official version, the harmonious combination between Soobin and Miss Thanh Thuy also made many audiences excited when the two had many face-to-face performances on award stages. The male singer said that although they only had a short practice time of 2 days, both of them focused their hearts during filming to create impressive shots.
