(NLDO) - Tay Ninh is increasingly attractive to tourists and has become a top destination in the South.

According to a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province, statistics for the first 7 months of 2025 show that the province is estimated to have 5.1 million tourists, with total tourism revenue reaching 3,250 billion VND.

At Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area alone, as of July 30, there have been 4 million visitors taking the cable car up to Ba Den Mountain.

Ba Den Mountain is becoming a tourist attraction.

This is a positive sign showing that Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area in particular and Tay Ninh in general are increasingly attracting tourists and becoming a leading destination in the South.

Ms. Dao Thi Viet, Deputy Director of Sun World Ba Den Mountain said: "We are extremely proud that many tourists have chosen to come and return to Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area over the years. Possessing a majestic natural landscape, Ba Den Mountain is known as "the first mountain in heaven", a destination for healing and balancing the body and mind of millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year. Not only is it a sacred mountain associated with a system of ancient pagodas hundreds of years old, Ba Den Mountain is also home to a system of magnificent spiritual and cultural works.

Here, a series of festivals and spiritual events are held on a year-round scale such as: Ba Mountain Spring Festival, Buddha's Birthday, Ba Den Festival, Vu Lan Festival..., or the lantern offering ceremony held every Saturday evening has become a ritual that visitors must attend at least once in their lives.

Ba Den Mountain is also an iconic cultural destination of Tay Ninh province where many major cultural events are held.

In the next 2 days (August 2 and 3), the Baden Mountain International Marathon 2025, the largest race in the Southeast region, will take place. This is the first time the marathon in Tay Ninh has been certified as an international standard course by AIMS, attracting more than 6,000 runners from all over the country.
