Setting a record for the largest mountain market in Vietnam

On the afternoon of August 30, at the top of Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh Province, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded the record certificate "La Market on the top of the largest mountain in Vietnam" to Tay Ninh Sun Joint Stock Company.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Vien - Director of the Vietnam Intellectual Property Institute, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Holders Association awarded the Vietnam record certificate to Tay Ninh Sun Joint Stock Company, the unit that organized the largest leaf market on the mountain top to recreate the traditional cultural space typical of the South.

Tourists enjoy participating in the leaf market on top of Ba Den mountain

The Vietnam Record was certified for Cho La, designed with an impressive scale of 30 stalls imbued with the rustic, simple features of the old Southern countryside markets, with more than 15,000 visitors participating. This is the pride not only of Sun World Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, but also of Tay Ninh people before a particularly rare cultural event both in Vietnam and in the world .

The entire market space is roofed and decorated with familiar natural materials such as: thatch leaves, mangrove wood, and linden, etc. by the staff of Sun World Ba Den Mountain. Here, visitors are given linden leaves instead of money to go to the market and choose rustic dishes and local products.

Bodhi leaves are given to visitors to the market.

The leaf market will be held for 4 days, from August 30 to September 2, 2025, to serve tourists visiting Ba Den Mountain on the occasion of National Day./.
