Inspecting facilities for collection, transportation, treatment of solid waste and environmental sanitation

The delegation conducted inspections at Hai Phong Urban Environment One Member Co., Ltd.; Hai Duong Urban Works Management Joint Stock Company; Chi Linh Transport, Environment and Urban Joint Stock Company ; Hai Duong Urban Environment Joint Stock Company. Through inspection, it is shown that the companies basically strictly comply with the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection; regulations of the City People's Committee on the collection, transportation and treatment of medical solid waste and solid waste in the city; regulations on economic and technical characteristics of collection, transportation and treatment services for domestic solid waste. For domestic waste, it is gathered and classified, inert waste is buried, organic and inorganic waste, and mixtures are burned by incinerator systems. Units that process chemicals, biological products, and fly killer products are regularly located in the gathering workshop area. Leachate from closed workshops is treated and used as cooling water for the incinerator.
