On February 6, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quoc - Deputy Director of Kien Giang Department of Tourism - said that Kien Giang today announced and put into operation the systems of package No. 1 of the project 'Website system integrating virtual reality videos to promote tourism images, online ticket purchasing system, mobile application (mobile app) and tourism image promotion activities'.

The above project was approved by the People's Committee of Kien Giang province with a total investment of 79 billion VND and has 2 bidding packages, including: bidding package No. 1 for purchasing equipment, internal software and operating training; bidding package No. 2 is system operation consulting.

Accordingly, this smart tourism software system aims to support tourists to have the best tourism experience; support businesses to provide effective tourism services and tourism management agencies to analyze, forecast data, promote promotion, manage tourism activities; Promote tourists' access and interaction to meet the needs of searching, exploiting, linking tourism services, and making convenient payments.

Thereby contributing to diversifying tourism types and products and services in Phu Quoc, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, improving tourism statistics and developing tourism in the province.
