On the morning of October 3, the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 officially opened.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, said that this Congress is a special political event, marking an important milestone in the development process of Vinh Long province, when implementing the merger of administrative units according to the Central's policy. Besides, he suggested that the province should prioritize synchronous investment in inter-regional strategic infrastructure systems such as national highways in the area, coastal routes, expressways, inland waterways, seaports, and river ports, in order to expand development space and attract high-quality investment.
