The 27th session of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission

On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held its 27th session to discuss and give opinions on a number of important issues. Comrade Dinh Viet Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the session.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed the results of: Handling the denunciation against comrade Nguyen Tu Duc Tho, Party cell secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ninh Binh Province Clean Water and Rural Sanitation Joint Stock Company; inspecting the Party's finances for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; inspecting the implementation of the obligation to declare assets and income for comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises.

Results of supervision of the Party Committee of the Department of Tourism , the Party Committee of the Department of Construction and a number of individuals involved in the leadership, direction and implementation of Party regulations and State laws on practicing thrift, preventing and combating corruption and waste in the management and use of State budget funds and other funding sources to perform the agency's tasks; the implementation of the obligation to declare assets and income for cadres under the management of the Standing Committee.

Results of supervision of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance, the Party Committee of the State Treasury of Ninh Binh province and a number of individuals involved in the development and implementation of working regulations, regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level; leadership, direction and organization of implementation of Party regulations and State laws in the fields of: practicing thrift, preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity in management and use of assigned financial resources; declaration and disclosure of assets and income.

After reviewing the report on the results of inspection and supervision with 5 party organizations and a number of related individuals; resolving the denunciation against 1 cadre and party member under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee found that: The content of the denunciation against comrade Nguyen Tu Duc Tho, Party cell secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ninh Binh Province Clean Water and Rural Sanitation Joint Stock Company, for his act of insulting the honor of another individual is correct. Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, cause of the violation, as well as the sincere and self-conscious attitude of comrade Nguyen Tu Duc Tho and mitigating circumstances and comparing with Regulation No. 69-QD/TW dated July 6, 2022 of the Politburo on discipline of Party organizations, violating party members and exemplary responsibility, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee unanimously decided to discipline comrade Nguyen Tu Duc Tho in the form of a reprimand.

Regarding the 5 party organizations that were inspected and supervised, in addition to the basic advantages, the inspected and supervised organizations and individuals also had the following shortcomings and limitations: The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Block still had some shortcomings and limitations in leading and directing the management and use of Party finances and assets; the Standing members of the Party Committee of the Block still had shortcomings and limitations in performing the obligation to declare assets and income.

The Party Committee of the Department of Tourism, the Party Committee of the Department of Construction and a number of related individuals still have a number of shortcomings and limitations in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of Party regulations and State laws on practicing thrift, preventing and combating corruption and waste in managing and using State budget funds and other funding sources to perform the agency's tasks; and in performing the obligation to declare assets and income.

The Party Committee of the Department of Finance, the Party Committee of the State Treasury of Ninh Binh province and a number of related individuals still have some shortcomings and limitations in developing and organizing the implementation of working regulations and regulations on implementing democracy at the grassroots level; in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of Party regulations and State laws in the fields of: practicing thrift, preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity in the management and use of assigned financial resources; and in declaring and publicizing assets and income.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requests that Party organizations and Party members that are inspected and supervised strictly comply with the conclusions; continue to promote their strengths, promptly lead and direct serious reviews, draw lessons and overcome shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission according to regulations.

Also at the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed and gave opinions on a number of other important contents related to the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks.
