Expected to create a development boost

(GLO)- No longer having a general choice, grassroots party committees enter the 2025-2030 term with the determination to clearly identify the "bottlenecks" that need to be removed and the "leverages" that need to be promoted.

From the practice of each locality, the breakthrough is considered a strategic key: If done correctly and accurately, it will not only pave the way for socio-economic development, but also strengthen the political system and improve people's lives.

Breakthroughs linked to local advantages and practices

Ayun is a purely agricultural commune, the poverty rate is still high, especially in areas where ethnic minorities are the majority. Faced with that reality, the Commune Party Committee identified 3 breakthroughs: Strengthening institutions and management apparatus associated with digital government; developing services, tourism , and trade based on specific advantages; investing in infrastructure, removing "bottlenecks" for sustainable development.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Ayun Commune Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga said that breakthroughs in institutions, apparatus and digital government are core factors, ensuring all development programs are synchronous, avoiding overlap and wasting resources.

Meanwhile, breakthroughs in services, tourism and trade are oriented towards exploiting local advantages to build a unique identity and develop the economy from local resources.

Transport infrastructure development is considered the foundation and has a spreading effect, a "bridge" to realize modern institutions as well as effectively exploit the advantages of tourism and services.

“If we consider the institution as the “locomotive”, tourism and agriculture as the “product”, then transport infrastructure is the “rail” to help Ayun develop quickly and sustainably,” Ms. Nga emphasized.

Unlike Ayun, An Phu ward has the appearance of a new urban area after the merger. The biggest problem here is that after the merger of 1 ward and 2 communes, there is a lack of synchronization in planning and infrastructure; services and cultural and social institutions have not kept up with the demand.

On that basis, the Ward Party Committee selected 4 breakthroughs: Planning, increasing investment and attracting investment in infrastructure; building database, digital transformation, applying science and technology; building staff; supporting and developing the business system.

According to the Party Secretary of the ward, Luu Trung Nghia, this is both an objective requirement and a foundation for effectively exploiting the potential of facilities, resources and human resources, making An Phu an economic driving force in the West of the province.

Meanwhile, the Ia Ko Commune Party Committee identified four key breakthroughs in personnel work, application of science and technology, development of high-tech agriculture and investment in socio-economic infrastructure.

The goal is to mobilize maximum resources to promote growth and shift the economic structure in a positive direction, in which agriculture still plays a key role, creating a spillover effect for other sectors.

By 2030, Ia Ko strives to become a locality that develops in an open, harmonious, and unique space, placing people at the center of development; considering people's quality of life as a measure of the effectiveness of social policies.

Meet expectations, pave the way for development

Practice shows that when breakthroughs are linked to local advantages, the prospect of socio-economic development becomes more evident.

In Ayun commune, the great advantage is that the area has Kon Ka Kinh National Park - an important nature reserve with rich potential for ecotourism and scientific research.

In addition, De Kjieng village of the Bahnar people located in the buffer zone of Kon Ka Kinh National Park still preserves many traditional crafts and customs; the historical relic "House of painter Xu Man" contributes to enriching the local cultural and historical tourism route.

“The locality chooses to make a breakthrough in developing tourism and services not only to create jobs and improve income but also to preserve and promote indigenous cultural values, building a sustainable economy associated with nature and national identity,” said Party Secretary Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga.

In An Phu ward, there are currently 329 enterprises and cooperatives operating, many of which are large-scale enterprises with export turnover of hundreds of millions of USD, making an important contribution to local economic development. In addition, private enterprises are also deeply involved in the product value chain, creating more jobs for local workers.

Mr. Luu Trung Nghia affirmed that supporting business development is to concretize Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development - one of the four important pillars of the economy. An Phu Ward aims to maintain an average export turnover of 520 million USD/year, thereby contributing to making the locality a driving force in the West of the province.

Ia Pa commune focuses on the human factor, identifying two breakthroughs: cadre work and resource mobilization for infrastructure development. Grassroots cadres who are close to and understand the people will improve the effectiveness of state management, while synchronous infrastructure will pave the way for commodity agriculture, community tourism and rural services. These are two "backbones" that trigger comprehensive development.

Secretary of the Ia Pa Ro Commune Party Committee, Cham La Ni, emphasized the need to build a team of grassroots cadres with strong political will, good moral qualities, professional capacity and high practical leadership ability; in which, special attention should be paid to the quality of the team of Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the village Party Cells.

When this force is standardized and effectively promoted, the quality of Party cell activities, the effectiveness of state management and consensus among the people will be improved.

Along with that, the commune focuses on investing in the goal of changing the rural appearance towards a spacious and modern direction. When the transportation system is upgraded, irrigation is improved and the intra-field transportation network is synchronously connected, the economic structure will have a strong shift, and people's income will gradually increase.
