On October 28, the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized the October 2024 Reporters' Conference. At the Conference, delegates were informed of a number of contents including: Results of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work in the first 9 months of the year and key tasks in the last months of 2024; the topic from the era of independence and freedom to the era of the Vietnamese people's rise in the new era and orientation of propaganda work in the coming time.

Regarding the topic from the era of independence and freedom to the era of the Vietnamese people's rise in the new era, the delegates were thoroughly informed of the following contents: Characteristics of the new era; scientific basis and principles of the era; the goal of the Vietnamese people's rise in the new era. The Party and State clearly recognized the potential and development opportunities of the country. The 13th National Congress of the Party set the goal of turning Vietnam into a developed, high-income country by 2045. To achieve this goal, Vietnam needs to complete industrialization, build advanced industrial production, develop a modern, civilized society and increase per capita income - the basic criteria of a developed country according to international standards.

Comrade Le Chi Cong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee delivered a speech on propaganda orientation at the Conference.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, comrade Le Chi Cong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested agencies, units, Propaganda Departments and reporters at all levels to continue advising Party committees and authorities to promote propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; current information; Party building and political system work; economic , cultural , social, defense, security, foreign affairs fields; some commemorative events taking place in the month and in the following time; promote propaganda and mobilize cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people to actively participate in competitions/contests organized by the Central and the province.

At the same time, step up propaganda work on major, key topics from now until the 14th National Congress of the Party such as the topics: "New belief, new spirit", "Foundation, potential, position, international prestige of the country after 40 years of renovation"; "Opportunities, challenges and historical responsibilities of the Party to lead the country to rise in the new era"; analyze, scientifically explain, and convince the strategic guiding ideas adopted at the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee...
