On October 4, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Province Police prosecuted additional suspects including accomplices Nguyen Van Thanh (former Director of the former Binh Thuan General Hospital).

During the investigation, it was determined that in 2020, in order to legalize the bidding for payment of medical equipment and machinery that had been advanced by Minh Khoa Company, defendant Nguyen Van Thanh intervened in the bidding process, creating conditions for Minh Khoa Company to win the bid, causing damage to the State budget of a total amount of more than 4.1 billion VND.

Police appeared in front of the house of the former Director of the old Binh Thuan General Hospital.

Also in this case, there are Vo Thi Minh Thao (employee of the Finance and Accounting Department of the former Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital), Doan Thi My Chi (employee of Minh Khoa Company) and Le Thuc Thien (Director of Trieu Tin Construction Consulting Limited Company and also an employee of Truong Thanh Company, the consulting unit, which evaluated the bidding documents) who played an active role in creating conditions for Minh Khoa Company to be the winning bidder .

These defendants were also prosecuted for the crime of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 222 of the Penal Code.

Lam Dong Provincial Police Investigation Agency issued a decision to prosecute and order the defendants Vo Thi Minh Thao, Doan Thi My Chi, and Le Thuc Thien to be banned from leaving their place of residence.
