Music is considered an indispensable spiritual food in the spiritual life of people, a bond between people, becoming a common language of all mankind. Therefore, in recent times, many professional and systematic music programs and competitions for students and teenagers have been organized and implemented, contributing to arousing love and passion for music for the young generation of Binh Thuan .
One of the professional music programs and competitions for high school, university and college students held in recent years is the "Hoa Phuong Do" singing festival organized by the Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Education and Training. After 3 years of organization, the "Hoa Phuong Do" singing festival has increasingly attracted students and youth union members to participate with many invested performances, bringing appeal to the audience. This year, the "Hoa Phuong Do" singing festival took place in mid-October and continued to bring many good and unique performances. The festival attracted 11 teams (330 contestants) from districts, towns, city unions, and university and college unions in the province. The teams performed 33 entries in the categories of solo, duet, trio, group singing, dancing, and jumping with content praising the traditions of the homeland, the country, and the glorious traditions of the Party, Youth Union, and Association such as: choir and dance accompanying "Today's Country" by Ham Thuan Bac unit; singing "Letter to the Teacher" by Bac Binh unit; singing and dancing mashup "Binh Thuan, my homeland and the glory of Vietnam" by Phan Thiet unit; solo singing "Red skin yellow" by Tanh Linh unit; singing and dancing "Get up and go" by Phan Thiet University...
According to Ms. Tran Thi Hoa Xuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, in recent times, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has always focused on and paid attention to the activities of the Youth Union and the youth movement in schools, launched many exciting emulation movements, organized many useful playgrounds in studying, improved physical fitness, spiritual culture for students. The "Hoa Phuong Do" singing festival is considered an interesting playground held annually for students of high schools, colleges and universities in the whole province.
This year, the participating units have invested carefully in costumes, props, content, and a seamless program, connected by a consistent script, with a tight and logical structure between the performances. With clear voices, natural and confident performance, the performances have left many impressions on the audience, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere in the passion for singing of the students.
Through the festival, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee hopes that students in the province will raise their awareness of the nation's heroic revolutionary tradition and their love for their homeland. At the same time, it is an opportunity for students in the whole province to exchange, learn, and improve their skills and talents in the field of art, promoting cultural and artistic exchanges. Thereby, young talents in the field of culture and art will be discovered and nurtured in a timely manner, connecting students and maintaining emulation movements in the Youth Union and youth movements in schools in the province.
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 5 consolation prizes and 1 secondary prize to the participating units. However, the biggest reward was that the children had the opportunity to exchange, learn and show their talents and passion for music. The door to a professional playground according to their strengths was opened to create beautiful melodies to make life more meaningful and joyful.
