The first community tourism village in Khanh Hoa

Ninh Van Commune (Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa) launched a Community Tourism Management Board to help the commune government deploy a community tourism model to serve tourists.

Information from the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa Town ( Khanh Hoa Province) said that the locality has just announced Ninh Van Commune as a potential location for community tourism development in Khanh Hoa Province, as a basis for promoting and calling for investment in community tourism in the commune.

This is also the first locality to announce a community tourism destination in Khanh Hoa .

The Community Tourism Management Board in the commune was also established with 19 members, with the role of self-governing organization, helping the Ninh Van commune government deploy a community tourism model to serve tourists. In October 2023, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province decided to recognize Ninh Van commune as a location for community tourism development. Accordingly, in March 2024, the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town issued a Plan to deploy the construction and development of community tourism in the commune in 2024 to specify the development contents for the period 2023-2025, gradually putting community tourism in Ninh Van commune into operation in a practical and effective manner. Ms. Phan Hai Thoai, Deputy People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town, said that Ninh Van has great potential for developing community tourism, but the announcement of Ninh Van community tourism destination is "just the first step", there is still much to do to move towards sustainable development; ensure the criteria for evaluating the completeness of the community tourism model. The leaders of Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee also called on the authorities and people of Ninh Van commune to urgently develop a specific plan to soon complete the criteria for evaluating the community tourism model. At the same time, spend time and resources to better protect tourism resources, preserve and promote cultural identity, historical relics, embellish the landscape, clean and green environment to serve tourists, worthy of being an attractive tourist destination. Ninh Van is an island commune of more than 4,520 hectares, 3 sides facing the sea, like a small valley surrounded by extremely unique natural scenery with a population of more than 2,000 people. Thanks to its charming scenery, this area has a series of famous luxury resorts located such as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay,... At the same time, Ninh Van is also a place that preserves the historical vestiges of the Ho Chi Minh trail at sea with the historical site of the C235 ship memorial site.
