Lang Son has a new Provincial Party Secretary

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of this province has just been elected as Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

This afternoon (December 1), the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee convened a special meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the election of the Secretary of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, and the election of additional members of the Inspection Committee of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

After listening to the presentation and carefully studying the structure, standards and conditions of the introduced personnel, the delegates raised their sense of responsibility and proceeded to vote according to regulations.

As a result, with the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020 - 2025.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem was born on September 2, 1968, Tay ethnic group; hometown: Binh La commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province. He joined the Party on June 9, 1995; officially on June 9, 1996; professional qualifications: Master of Economics; University of Commerce; University of Political Economics; Advanced Political Theory.

Previously, implementing the Politburo's opinion on personnel work (in Official Dispatch No. 12089-CV/VPTW and Official Dispatch No. 12099-CV/VPTW, dated November 9, 2024 of the Party Central Office), in which the Politburo agreed that Comrade Nguyen Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to approve and appoint to hold the position of Judge of the Supreme People's Court , Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and assigned to participate in the Party Personnel Committee of the Supreme People's Court;

Therefore, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province, was assigned to run the work of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term is completed.
