NDO - On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia (November 9, 1953 - November 9, 2024), on November 8, the Central Executive Committee of our Party sent a congratulatory message to the Central Executive Committee of the Cambodian People's Party.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam sent a flower basket to congratulate King Norodom Sihamoni and President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen. President Luong Cuong sent a letter of congratulations to King Norodom Sihamoni; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of congratulations to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent a letter of congratulations to President of the Cambodian Senate Samdech Techo Hun Sen and President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Khuon Sudary.
In congratulatory messages and letters, the Party Central Committee and senior leaders of Vietnam congratulated the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Cambodian people on the great and important achievements in various fields in recent times, especially under the wise reign of King Norodom Sihamoni. Party, State and National Assembly leaders congratulated Cambodia on successfully organizing elections, establishing a new Government, maintaining political stability and economic development, and continuously improving Cambodia's position in the international arena.
As two neighboring countries that have stood side by side through the ups and downs of history, Vietnam has been and will continue to make efforts together with Cambodia to continue to preserve and foster the good traditional friendship between the Party, State and People of Vietnam and the Cambodian People's Party, State and People of Cambodia; to bring the relationship between the two countries to increasingly develop in depth, practically and effectively, bringing benefits to the people of the two countries, contributing to peace , stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son sent a congratulatory letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Sok Chenda Sophia.
