Accordingly, the Politburo decided to mobilize, assign and appoint comrade Ho Van Nien, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and appointed to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 5.
Speaking at the Decision handover ceremony, comrade Le Minh Hung affirmed that the Politburo's assignment of comrade Ho Van Nien to the new responsibility of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term demonstrates the trust and recognition of comrade Ho Van Nien. The Politburo believes that with his experience, capacity and strengths, comrade Ho Van Nien will excellently complete the assigned tasks.
The Politburo also requested that comrades in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors in the whole province continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, support, assistance and create conditions for comrade Ho Van Nien to successfully complete the assigned tasks and the highest requirement is to unite and strive to bring Quang Ngai province to continue to develop more strongly in the coming time.
In his new position, comrade Ho Van Nien must closely follow the direction of the Politburo at the Provincial Party Congress, concentrate his efforts and determination with comrades in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee to immediately deploy the action program to implement the Congress resolution, and soon bring the Party's resolution into life.

Comrade Ho Van Nien has held the following positions: Secretary of the former Dak Po District Party Committee (Gia Lai Province); Provincial Party Committee member, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term XV, 2015-2020.
In January 2016, he was an alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee.
Since June 2020, he has been Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term XV, 2015-2020; Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term XVI, 2020-2025.
In January 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, comrade Ho Van Nien was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
