The coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong arrives home

At 11:00 a.m. on May 25, the flight carrying the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong landed at Chu Lai Airport (Quang Nam Province). When the plane door opened, the honor guard stepped forward to perform the ceremony of placing the coffin on the hearse, beginning the journey back to their hometown.

According to the route, the hearse carrying the coffin moved from Chu Lai airport along National Highway 1A and then to Dong Bo mountain, Dien Truong village, Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province - where former President Tran Duc Luong rests forever.

At noon on May 25, according to SGGP Newspaper's reporter, preparations for the funeral of former President Tran Duc Luong in his hometown of Dien Truong village (Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province) were basically completed.

A large number of cadres, soldiers, students and local people were present to prepare to receive the coffin of the former President. Security was ensured, vehicles moving into the area were instructed to use one entrance and one exit.
