But in reality, the chance of the Oceania representative creating a surprise is not high. On the FIFA rankings, Guam women are only ranked 97th in the world , which is 60 places lower than the Vietnamese women's team. The difference in class between the two sides is clearly shown through the performance of the two teams in Viet Tri.

While the home team has a balanced force, spread out across the lines, the Guam women's team did not show many truly outstanding faces.
