In the coming days, the weather in the North is still divided into two distinct regions. In particular, the Northwest and the North Central regions will have rain in some places, with scattered fog and light fog in the early morning; in the afternoon, the clouds will decrease, and the weather will be sunny. Around March 15, a cold front is likely to arrive, causing scattered showers and thunderstorms in the area; from the night of March 15, the weather will turn cold.

Notably, before the cold air flows in causing cold rain, from now until March 15, the Northwest and North Central regions will have sunshine and increased temperatures, the highest in Dien Bien on March 14-15 will be up to 33-34 degrees.

Meanwhile, the Northeast region from now until the weekend will continue to have light rain, drizzle and scattered fog at night and in the morning. It will be cold at night and in the morning, and from tomorrow it will be cold at night and in the morning.

Around March 15, this area will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; from March 16, there will be rain in some places; from March 15, the weather will turn cold, ending the prolonged wet and humid weather.

According to the table above, the highest temperature in the capital Hanoi occurred around March 14 at 28 degrees, then dropped to 25 degrees on March 15. Notably, from March 16, when the cold air came, the temperature dropped 5 degrees both day and night, to 18-20 degrees and remained at the lowest of only 15-16 degrees in the following days.

For the Central and South Central regions, from today there will be scattered showers. In the North, it will be cold at night and early morning, from 12/3 it will be cold at night and early morning.

From Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa, from March 12-15, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, and sunny during the day; from around the night of March 15, there will be scattered showers and rain.

In the Central Highlands and the South, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night; sunny during the day, except in the South where there will be some hot weather. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In addition, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station informed about the general weather trend in the coming days. Accordingly, the cold air continues to weaken slowly and denature, and will strengthen again around March 15-16. Above, the subtropical high pressure has a stable intensity, from around March 14 it will weaken in intensity and gradually withdraw to the East.
