Visa exemption for citizens of 12 countries

(NLDO)- The Government has decided to exempt visas for citizens of 12 countries with a temporary stay of 45 days within 3 years.

The Government has just issued Resolution No. 44 dated March 7, 2025 on visa exemption for citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway and Republic of Finland.

The Resolution clearly states that visa exemption is granted to citizens of the above countries for a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry, on the basis of fully meeting the entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law.

The visa exemption policy when entering Vietnam for citizens of the above countries is implemented from March 15, 2025 to March 14, 2028 and will be considered for extension according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.

Resolution No. 32 dated March 15, 2022 and Resolution No. 128 dated August 14, 2023 of the Government expire from March 15, 2025.

In which, Resolution No. 32 on visa exemption for citizens of the following countries: Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Russian Federation, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Republic of Finland and Republic of Belarus from March 15, 2022 to March 14, 2025.
