Ho Chi Minh City Supermodel Minh Tu wears a red ao dai inspired by her mother's wedding dress from the 1980s.
On the evening of April 13, supermodel Minh Tu and her longtime boyfriend Christopher held a wedding party with relatives and friends. The reception hall was decorated in the style of a Vietnamese village, accented with conical hats interspersed with white flower bushes.

To match the countryside theme, Minh Tu chose to wear a red wedding dress, with a matching crown decorated with pearls and crystals. The design was made of high-quality imported satin silk, inspired by Minh Tu's mother's wedding dress. The outfit combined with a white lace cape decorated with 3D flowers creates a classic effect.
Before the wedding day, the supermodel told Chung Thanh Phong she wanted to recreate the image of her mother. 43 years ago, her mother also wore a red ao dai in her wedding. She wished that every sacred and happy moment of hers would always have the image of her parents by her side.
Minh Tu's mother advised her to be less ambitious to build a family.
When walking down the aisle, the supermodel wore a satin wedding dress made using draping techniques. The outfit was accentuated by pleats along the body, a 3D corset to create a snug fit, and draping shoulder details to create softness.
The supermodel said the dress was her dream wedding dress. "I've worn so many gorgeous designs while modeling, so on the big day I just wanted to wear a dress that was light, minimalist and sophisticated but still exuded charm," she said.

The highlight of the outfit is the 4 meter long veil embroidered with the words "We're married", the border of the veil is the teasing and urging words of the bride's fans and friends like "Why haven't you gotten married yet". Minh Tu said she wants to keep these caring words as a memory when entering a new page in her life.
Designer Chung Thanh Phong also embroidered a red heart on the inside of the dress to commemorate his friendship with his muse, and to send wishes for a "perfect marriage, happiness and always full of love".
At the post-wedding party, the bride changed into a deconstructive dress made from recycled old clothes. The design was inspired by Minh Tu's youth, when she often wore secondhand clothes due to financial constraints . The beauty wanted to bring this story to her wedding dress to remember the difficult times, creating a strong Minh Tu today.
To make this dress, Chung Thanh Phong cut, disassembled and thoroughly used materials from old bras and denim skirts, combined with pieces of mesh chiffon left over from the workshop. Minh Tu really liked the dress because it was mischievous, unconventional and liberal, just like her personality.
