According to VietNamNet reporter, while participating in the program Sao Nhap Ngu 2025, supermodel Minh Tu was suddenly injured during the tug-of-war task of assembling a gun.

She thought the slight impact did not affect her much, but after a preliminary examination, the military doctor recommended transferring her to a provincial hospital.

Here, MRI results showed that the model had a near-complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament; grade 2-3 medial meniscus tear, grade 1 lateral meniscus tear; slight contusion of the lateral tibiofemoral articular cartilage and moderate knee effusion.

The doctor prescribed surgery to reconstruct the ligament and remove part of the torn meniscus.

"Holding the paper in my hand, my heart was heavy. The physical pain was one thing, but the anxiety and confusion really overwhelmed me. The bad news came so suddenly that my mind was in turmoil. Sometimes I didn't know where to start or how to face it," she said.

When asked about mobility - especially modeling - after surgery, according to Minh Tu, the doctor said that the recovery level of each patient is different, but it all boils down to the requirement of perseverance and closely following the physical therapy schedule.

In Minh Tu's case, she was able to walk after 3 months and jog lightly after about 6 months. However, activities such as wearing high heels or playing sports need to be re-evaluated based on the recovery speed and actual condition.

When mentioning her husband Christopher, Minh Tu emotionally said: "I still remember clearly that day it was raining heavily. He came to pick me up at the airport and immediately took me to the emergency room that night. When I couldn't walk by myself, all the things like eating, personal activities... I had to rely on the help of him, my family and relatives. The seemingly small things touched me the most. I am truly grateful and love him very much for always being there silently, taking care of me little by little during the most difficult period."

Besides, friends and colleagues inside and outside the program Sao Nhap Ngu also sent their condolences and encouragement to Minh Tu after this unexpected incident.

"I believe every difficulty has its own meaning. This journey has taught me to be stronger and more patient; to appreciate my health, to appreciate every moment and every seemingly ordinary but precious step," the model added.
