On the afternoon of October 3, the Miss Universe World Organization spoke out after the noise surrounding the suspicion that Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa was "cleared the way" by the Organizing Committee to be crowned.

"Thank you for raising your concerns regarding the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 pageant. We have listened and looked into this issue. The most important thing for us is that all national pageants are judged fairly.

We are working closely with our national franchisees to learn more about what happened and ensure every part of our program is conducted with integrity. We appreciate your patience as we take a closer look at this matter."

This announcement, after being posted on the Miss Universe fanpage, quickly attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community. The majority of opinions supported the Miss Universe organization to clarify the results of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest.

Previously, on the evening of September 29, the final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the competition of 18 contestants. The title of Miss was named contestant Bui Quynh Hoa.

Bui Quynh Hoa was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2023.

However, this result caused controversy, and there were even rumors that Bui Quynh Hoa was cleared to be crowned. The reason came from the fact that many viewers discovered that Bui Quynh Hoa's answer was completely copied from an article on Google.

A few months ago, when the reigning Miss Universe came to Vietnam, Quynh Hoa was also present at the reception with the leaders of the Miss Universe Vietnam organization.

In the face of a series of rumors about buying the award, Bui Quynh Hoa denied this: "There is no way I was "prepared" to register last. I also believe that the audience will see the investment and meticulousness that I have brought to the competition over the past time. I hope the audience will recognize this."

She also denied knowing the question in advance for the top 3 behavioral round. She explained that the theme of Miss Universe 2023 is the beauty of confidence. Miss Quynh Hoa said that she and all the other contestants had been informed about this topic by Miss Charm 2023 - Luma Russo.

“I spent a lot of time researching this topic. I found many pieces of information that were similar to my life. What I want to inspire everyone is to respect the differences and success of each individual. No one forbids people from learning anywhere, Google is free. I like reading books and researching information online because it is convenient and I can always carry my smartphone with me.

My team and I have studied all the questions that were asked in the competition as well as the hot topics today, especially women's confidence. Why don't we learn online? For me, it's very normal."

Bui Quynh Hoa caused controversy over her performance in the question and answer session and information about buying the prize.

Bui Quynh Hoa's answer did not convince the audience, so many people still expressed their dissatisfaction and indignation at this result, even asking the Miss Universe organization to intervene to check the transparency of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 contest.
