Today (June 9), Due to the influence of the low pressure trough passing through the North combined with the impact of the increasingly stronger high-altitude wind convergence zone, localities in the province have scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms such as: Ta Gia Khau (Muong Khuong) 22.0 mm; Nan San (Si Ma Cai) 17.8 mm; Ngu Chi Son (Sa Pa) 15.2 mm.

Tonight and tomorrow (June 10), due to the influence of the high-altitude wind convergence zone, localities in Lao Cai province will have scattered rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 30 - 50 mm/period, in some places over 80 mm/period. Heavy rain will be concentrated in Sa Pa town, districts: Bao Yen, Bao Thang, Bac Ha, Van Ban.
