Meaningful summer

This summer, Phan Hoang Anh and her friends participated in the “Small Miracle” project of the Little House drawing class, bringing paintings to donate to Da Nang Hospital, Da Nang Oncology Hospital and Children’s Hospital 2 ( Ho Chi Minh City). The medical team and doctors shared that the paintings partly help patients recover their spirits and make the hospital more colorful, especially for young patients.

This year, the project received the support of nearly 3,000 students, 100 teachers and many warm hearts. More than 100 brilliant paintings were created, bringing love, encouragement and positive energy to places where it is needed most.

Participating in the project, Phan Hoang Anh confided: “This summer is very special for me, because in addition to learning to draw, I also get to share my feelings with my friends through each painting. I hope that when the paintings are hung up, they will bring joy and more motivation to the patients.”

At the Da Nang Children's Palace, many diverse and attractive summer programs are organized for children. Recently, the activity "Discover the world of technology - Enjoy learning summer IT for children" gives children the opportunity to improve their basic IT skills, stimulate creative thinking, and problem-solving ability through applied lessons. In particular, children can also participate in the Golden Bell IT tournament, an environment for them to confidently express themselves, connect with friends and explore their own technological potential.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong (Thanh Khe ward) expressed: "Thanks to useful playgrounds like this, my children have a meaningful summer, learning, playing healthily, and at the same time limiting the use of phones and social networks."

Diverse playgrounds

In Hoa Cuong ward, playgrounds and activities are organized to equip children with knowledge and skills to prevent diseases, abuse, violence, social evils and injuries.

At the same time, children are also educated about historical traditions, ethics, and laws; participate in recreational activities, physical training, skills, environmental protection, and building a civilized urban lifestyle.

For example, organizing reading spots in residential areas, community activity spots, schools, open at least 8 hours/day; the festival "Active summer - more fun exercise" gathering more than 200 young people with activities such as: Solidarity steps, transparent hoop, group rope jumping, sack jumping and ring tossing...; friendly football tournament; big game journey "Radiant Vietnam"...

Secretary of the Hoa Cuong Ward Youth Union Le Vien Thanh said that the unit chooses age-appropriate forms and types of entertainment and sports to organize for children. Through this, it hopes to attract and promote children's participation rights, create conditions for them to practice skills, improve their health, and at the same time have a truly beneficial and safe summer.

Recently, Cam Le Ward Youth Union launched the "Cam Le Youth" Club with more than 70 members, operating under the slogan "Youth - Creativity - Dedication". The club was established to gather union members, dynamic, enthusiastic youth, who love volunteer activities, skill training, culture - arts, sports and hobby activities.

Cam Le Ward Youth Union Secretary Le Thanh Hai said that in the summer of 2025, with the spirit of "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", the Ward Youth Union proactively innovated its working methods, applied digital technology, promoted youth and volunteerism, organized many practical activities such as the campaigns "Green Summer", "Red Flamboyant", "Supporting exam season"; the program "Green, clean, beautiful Sunday"; a youth volunteer team to support people in administrative procedures; visited and gave gifts to policy families, cared for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; organized voluntary blood donation and many other meaningful models and activities.

In the coming time, Cam Le Ward Youth Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote the application of digital technology, diversify playgrounds for children and teenagers, contributing to building a dynamic, creative and responsible young generation towards the community.
