On May 30, Steering Committee 35 of Nghi Son town organized a training conference to raise awareness and skills in protecting the Party's foundation and ideology, and fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile views in the new situation in 2024.

Overview of the conference.

At the conference, over 200 comrades who are members and secretaries of the Steering Committee 35 of the town; reporters, social opinion collaborators of the town; Secretaries of Party Committees and Party cells under the Town Party Committee; members of the Propaganda Department, the Party's ideological foundation protection team and core propagandists of communes and wards listened to comrade Pham Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, member of the Steering Committee 35 of the province, deliver two topics: Identifying and fighting against wrong and hostile views on the Internet and social networks today; skills in contacting and working with the press.

Through studying the topics at the conference, delegates will improve their awareness and skills in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation. On that basis, apply them creatively and appropriately to meet the requirements of the Party's ideological work tasks in the current period. Create high unity within the Party, within the political system and consensus among the people, heighten vigilance, proactively and actively protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, and create a driving force to promote the successful implementation of the town's socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2024.

Concluding the conference, comrade Truong Ba Duyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghi Son Town Party Committee, Head of Nghi Son Town Steering Committee 35, requested the members and Secretariat of Nghi Son Town Steering Committee 35, the team of reporters, social opinion collaborators of the town, the Propaganda Department of communes and wards, to always clearly define their assigned roles and responsibilities. Be active and proactive in advising and guiding, continue to organize the implementation of Resolution No. 35 of the Politburo in conjunction with organizing the implementation of the Secretariat's Conclusion on directing the fight against, preventing, handling, removing, and destroying fake news, false and harmful information on the Internet and social networks, the Secretariat's Regulations on cadres and party members setting up and using personal electronic information pages on the Internet and social networks and related documents. Through that, we can promote propaganda and education work so that cadres, party members, armed forces soldiers and people of all walks of life can voluntarily identify and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested that Party Committees and Party cells under the City Party Committee continue to disseminate Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo (12th tenure) on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation associated with the actual situation of the town, communes, wards, sectors, agencies and units. Promote well the advisory, coordinating and guiding role of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the core grassroots propagandists and the strength of the entire political system in the work of fighting against and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the current new situation, thereby defeating the plots and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces.
