In a recent post on social network X, the ShrimpApplePro account (who regularly leaks information about Apple products) has just revealed detailed information about the battery capacity of the iPhone 17 product line.

Depending on the country of sale, the iPhone 17 series may or may not be equipped with a physical SIM card slot. Accordingly, the battery capacity of these devices will also be different.

Since the SIM slot takes up some of the internal space of the iPhone, models with a physical SIM slot will have slightly lower battery capacity than eSIM-only versions.

Specifically, for the version that supports a physical SIM slot, the battery capacity on the iPhone 17 is 3,692mAh, the iPhone 17 Air is 3,036mAh, the iPhone 17 Pro is 3,988mAh and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is 4,823mAh.

On the version without a physical SIM slot, the battery capacity of the iPhone 17 remains at 3,692mAh. Meanwhile, the battery capacity of the iPhone 17 Air is 3,149mAh, the iPhone 17 Pro is 4,252mAh and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is 5,088mAh.

Thus, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will become the first iPhone model to be equipped with a battery with a capacity of over 5,000mAh.

Apple has asked employees at its authorized dealers in many European countries to complete training related to the eSIM feature on iPhone by September 5.

Starting with the iPhone 14 generation, Apple has removed the physical SIM slot for devices sold in the US market. To date, the company has not expanded this setup to any other countries.

According to MacRumors , the price of the iPhone 17 Pro will increase by $100 compared to the iPhone 16 Pro version. Previous rumors said that the iPhone 17 Pro will have a starting storage capacity of 256GB, while the iPhone 16 Pro has a starting storage capacity of 128GB.

The price of the iPhone 17 Air will also increase by $50 compared to the iPhone 16 Plus. Meanwhile, this expert affirmed that the two iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max models have the same price as the previous generation.
