Watch giant kites flying in the sky of Quy Nhon

On August 20, in Quy Nhon city, the launching ceremony and festival of art kite flying clubs, groups and teams took place with the theme "Quy Nhon Youth participate in developing art kite space" organized by the City Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Quy Nhon city.

At the ceremony, 35 art kite clubs were established and launched. Of which, 1 club is under the Vietnam Youth Union of Quy Nhon city, the rest are managed by the youth union branches and affiliated unions.

According to the plan, these clubs will perform artistic kite flying at Quy Nhon beach area and Nguyen Tat Thanh Square weekly, focusing on peak times from Friday to Sunday.

This activity aims to promote and gradually build and develop the space for artistic kites in Quy Nhon, contributing to preserving the beauty of national culture and creating a unique feature for the coastal city. At the same time, the event also spreads the love of artistic kites among the people.

The Quy Nhon Art Kite Club Festival also aims to stimulate tourism , turning Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh into an interesting destination attracting tourists.

After the launching ceremony, the clubs entered the festival and performed artistic kite flying, serving tourists and people.

Mr. Phan Hong Ngoc, a resident of Dong Da ward, Quy Nhon city, shared: "I learned about the artistic kite flying program through Facebook, so I scheduled to take my two daughters to see it. I was really impressed when I was in Quy Nhon for the first time to see these giant kites with my own eyes."
