Quang Tri Tax Department accompanies taxpayers in performing tax settlement in 2023

With the goal of "Taxpayers as the center of service", in 2024, the Quang Tri Tax Department will continue to organize the "Month of accompanying taxpayers" to support and create the most favorable conditions for taxpayers in the peak month of supporting taxpayers on new tax policies, as well as declaring and settling taxes in 2023 in accordance with regulations. Accordingly, during the "Month of accompanying taxpayers" held from March 1 to March 31, 2024, the Tax Department will deploy many propaganda activities and provide practical support to taxpayers in the province.

To support and accompany taxpayers, the Electronic Information Page http://quangtri.gdt.gov.vn, zalo channel, facebook of the Tax Department will focus on posting full and detailed content of new tax policies and laws; tax settlement guidance documents, as well as common cases and notes when performing tax settlement in 2023 with the most concise and easy-to-understand content.

Support and direct tax policy answers for taxpayers are regularly carried out at the "one-stop" department of the Tax Department office and its affiliated tax branches.

During the “Month of accompanying taxpayers”, the number of questions and problems arising is higher, related to most taxes and tax fields, therefore, the Quang Tri Tax Department will arrange competent and experienced civil servants, strengthen the coordination of functional departments, support, add more computers connected to the internet, install applications to serve organizations, individuals and taxpayers.

Particularly at the Vinh Linh - Gio Linh Regional Tax Department and the Trieu Hai Regional Tax Department, on March 6, 2024, a conference will be held to deploy a number of tax policies for taxpayers in the area to grasp and implement in accordance with the provisions of law.

Quang Tri Tax Department pays special attention to taxpayers regarding the deadline and cases where annual tax settlement must be made; encourages taxpayers to use electronic transaction methods to carry out tax settlement procedures, which are both convenient and transparent regarding the responsibilities and obligations of the parties.

Taxpayers should also proactively submit tax settlement dossiers early, avoiding submitting them in bulk on the last days of the settlement submission deadline, as this may cause network congestion and delay the submission deadline.

After submitting the application, taxpayers should use the lookup tool on the applications provided by the tax authority to know whether they have completed their tax settlement obligations or not, avoiding errors that may occur due to not monitoring and accessing the information that the tax authority has notified and provided.

By organizing the "Month of accompanying taxpayers", Quang Tri Tax Department hopes that taxpayers will be supported in the best way, thereby complying with tax policies and laws, declaring and paying taxes on time as prescribed.
