On June 16, domestic gold, silver and gemstone businesses simultaneously increased gold prices in both buying and selling directions.

Specifically, SJC, DOJI , Bao Tin Minh Chau all listed the price at 118.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 700,000 VND; the selling price was 120.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND compared to the previous day. The difference between buying and selling prices was 2 million VND.

Particularly at Mi Hong, the buying price increased sharply by 800,000 VND, reaching 119.3 million VND/tael; the selling price increased by 300,000 VND, reaching 120.3 million VND/tael.

As for PNJ, there was an impressive increase with the buying price reaching 114 million VND/tael (up 500,000 VND) and the selling price reaching 116.8 million VND/tael (up 600,000 VND).

Gold rings also increased sharply in both directions. DOJI listed at 116-118 million VND/tael, up 1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. The difference between buying and selling prices was at 2 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of gold rings at 116.5-119.5 million VND/tael (buy-sell), an increase of 500 thousand VND/tael in both directions. The difference between buying and selling is 3 million VND/tael.

The world gold price today increased by 11.25 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,242 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 113.21 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Compared to the domestic SJC gold bar price on the same day (118.5-120.5 million VND/tael), the SJC gold price is currently about 7.29 million higher than the international gold price.
