(GLO)- In the trading session on July 2, domestic pepper and coffee prices continued to increase. In particular, pepper prices in some key areas across the country exceeded 140 million VND/kg. In Gia Lai alone, a slight increase of only 2,000 VND was recorded, with a price of 138,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Dak Lak, Dak Nong (now Lam Dong) increased by 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 142,000 VND/kg.

In Ba Ria-Vung Tau (now Ho Chi Minh City), it is currently at 140,000 VND/kg, an increase of 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai increased by 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.

Vietnam's pepper export market is stable and flat after the previous session's high increase. Specifically, Vietnam's black pepper export price is currently at 6,240 USD/ton for 500g/l; 550g/l at 6,370 USD/ton and white pepper is at 8,950 USD/ton.

Coffee prices also continued to increase slightly compared to yesterday's trading session, increasing by 100-300 VND/kg in all localities. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 94,500 VND/kg. Of which, coffee prices in Dak Lak are at 94,700 VND/kg, coffee prices in Lam Dong are at 94,300 VND/kg and coffee prices in Gia Lai are at 94,500 VND/kg.
