The general rehearsal of the 10th People's Artist and Meritorious Artist Award Ceremony was held on the morning of March 5.

389 artists were awarded and posthumously awarded noble titles in this period, including 125 People's Artists and 264 Meritorious Artists. These are elite faces with outstanding artistic talent and many contributions to the development of national art and culture.

The theater field has the largest number of artists awarded the title, more than 60 people. The music field has more than 40 people receiving the title of People's Artist.

The oldest person honored as People's Artist is Artist Duc Trung (84 years old); the youngest is Hoai Thu (born in 1984)...

The list of Meritorious Artists this time includes many faces loved by the public, including singers Lan Anh, Tan Nhan, actor Thien Tung...

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the ceremony to award the titles of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist is not only a ceremonial event, but also a responsibility of the industry. This is to honor artists through noble titles, thereby promoting the creativity and dedication of artists. At the same time, the event demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State for artists, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution 33-NQ/TW on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people, meeting the requirements of sustainable development of the country.

The art program was staged with a new color, ensuring political , artistic, meaningful, honoring the dedication of the artists. Some artists who were awarded noble titles this time also participated in the performance on stage.

The Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio produced a report reflecting the process of awarding the title of People's Artist and Meritorious Artist for the 10th time, depicting important milestones in the artistic life of each artist. The Studio has built and completed the content, ensuring it is concise, condensed, impressive, and meaningful in honoring and spreading. Exhibition and decoration activities, including the exhibition of artists' portraits, have also been actively implemented and completed by units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
