"Health care festival" for people of Thach Lap commune

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 24, at Thach Lap commune, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Department of Health, Hanh Phuc Media Joint Stock Company and Ariston Vietnam Company Limited to organize the program "Health Care Festival" for the people.

Doctors and nurses provide consultation and health check-up for people in Thach Lap commune.

The program organized health check-ups, consultations, and provided free medicine for more than 400 people including the elderly, the disabled, people in difficult circumstances, and children in Thach Lap commune.

Participating in the program, people will receive general internal examinations directly from doctors from major hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, helping to detect abnormalities or diseases requiring specialized treatment, and examinations of pediatric, dental, and ENT diseases...

After the examination, the doctors prescribe medicine, instruct people on disease prevention, treatment, and scientific nutrition. In particular, people are disseminated with useful knowledge about health care during the changing seasons, learn more about cardiovascular diseases, blood pressure, stroke, musculoskeletal diseases; are directly instructed on tips for daily health care, early disease prevention, and avoiding unfortunate mistakes.

In addition, people were also given free medicine, gifts and necessary necessities, and children were able to participate in fun activities, drawing and painting statues at the program.

The program's organizers gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the sponsors gave 500,000 VND in support to 10 households in difficult circumstances; and 10 water heaters to 10 policy households in Thach Lap commune.

“Health Care Day” is a practical activity that helps people access medical services, improve their knowledge of self-care, and spread the spirit of compassion and sharing in the community.
