World Patient Safety Day (September 17): What Patients Need to Remember

Not only do doctors and nurses need to make efforts, each patient also needs to cooperate and be aware of ensuring their own safety.

September 17th of each year is chosen by the World Health Organization (WHO) as World Patient Safety Day to raise global awareness of the importance of minimizing risks in healthcare. This is not only the responsibility of the medical team but also requires the active participation of each patient and their family. When patients understand their rights, know how to ask questions, follow instructions and cooperate with doctors, medical examination and treatment will become safer and more effective.
