Over the past 5 years (2020 - 2025), the patriotic emulation movement in Nghe An has been launched and implemented synchronously, comprehensively and extensively in all areas of social life, with many innovations in both content and form. In particular, the patriotic emulation movement is associated with promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". From here, many typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds have emerged, contributing to spreading good and humane things in society; at the same time, making important contributions to the successful implementation of the socio -economic development goals and tasks set forth by the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

In the field of education, Nguyen The Quan - a former student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has affirmed the position of Nghe An youth when he won the Gold Medal for the Vietnamese delegation at the 2025 International Physics Olympiad held in France. Before that, he won the National First Prize in Physics and was crowned at the Asia- Pacific Physics Olympiad... That achievement is not only the pride of his family, teachers and the provincial education sector, but also a vivid proof of the aspiration to rise up, the spirit of learning and conquering knowledge of the young generation.

Along with education , the industrial sector has also recorded important progress. General Director Teng Wei Hong said: from 2020 to now, VSIP has attracted 35 investment projects with a total capital of about 3 billion USD, creating 50,000 more jobs. To date, 44 projects have come into operation, employing 32,000 workers, contributing to affirming Nghe An as an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

In the agricultural sector, the spirit of competition has urged many farmers to innovate and be creative. A typical example is Mr. Tran Xuan Son (a good farmer and businessman in Nghia Hung commune) with a model of raising egg-laying chickens in modern cold cages, applying solar energy. His farm of 23,000 chickens has an annual revenue of 8-11 billion VND, a profit of about 1 billion VND; the chicken egg product has been recognized as VietGAP in 2023 and OCOP 3-star in 2024. Not only does he enrich his family, he also creates jobs for dozens of workers and provides technical support to many disadvantaged households, contributing to the development of the local economy.

Those typical examples are vivid proof of the strong spread of the patriotic emulation movement in Nghe An over the past 5 years, permeating every field and every individual.

Emulating to build Nghe An to develop quickly and sustainably

Recognizing and praising Nghe An's outstanding achievements, Standing Member of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Pham Huy Giang emphasized: Provincial Party Committees and authorities continue to pay attention to leading, directing, and directing the emulation movement to resolve "bottlenecks" and "bottlenecks"; effectively implementing key tasks, breakthroughs, targets, and tasks of the province in the period 2025 - 2030. At the same time, the commendation work must be innovative, closely following reality, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, right people, right work, with high influence and educational value.

Affirming that the results of the emulation movement over the past 5 years have great significance, creating a foundation for the province to develop rapidly and sustainably, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung requested the entire political system to continue promoting the results, drawing on experience, so that the patriotic emulation movement can develop more and more deeply, closely linked with political, economic and social tasks in the new situation... In particular, emphasizing the spirit of "the more difficult it is, the more we must compete", considering it as a driving force for Nghe An to overcome challenges and complete the goals of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

To achieve the goal of making Nghe An a fairly developed province in the country by 2030, a national growth pole, and the center of the North Central region, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Le Hong Vinh emphasized 5 key tasks: focusing on implementing key tasks; promoting economic development emulation; launching a comprehensive emulation movement in the cultural and social fields; emulating to build a strong political system associated with ensuring national defense and security; at the same time continuing to innovate and improve the effectiveness of emulation and reward work.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called on the entire Party, people, business community, cadres and soldiers in the province to promote revolutionary traditions, arouse the will to be self-reliant, the aspiration to rise up, compete to achieve more outstanding achievements; the slogan of action emphasized at the Congress is: "Solidarity, creativity, innovation, and competition to build Nghe An to develop quickly and sustainably".
