The artistic journey has not stopped yet

After "leaving" the Vietnam Drama Theater, People's Artist Lan Huong is still open to artistic projects. Following the artist's journey, many people realize that she is still diligent with film projects such as Cay Tao No Hoa, Gia Dinh Minh Vui Bat Thuc, Hanh Phuc Bi Dang Stolen... People's Artist Lan Huong is also a judge in beauty contests, and openly shares pictures of her life on social networks.

If before, People's Artist Lan Huong was the main actress in most of the theater's plays, after retiring, she has more time to be more proactive in movies. The female artist said that during her career, she wanted to get closer to the audience and be responsible for the title that the state bestowed on her. "No matter how short or long the role is, when I accept the role, I pay attention to it and think about the character so that the audience can believe in the character I am playing," People's Artist Lan Huong confided.

After retiring from the People's Police Theater in 2018, People's Artist Tran Nhuong's artistic journey has not stopped. Many people even see him busier with film projects and participating in the hot seat of many beauty contests.

According to People's Artist Tran Nhuong, when he was still working, he had to focus on fulfilling his responsibilities. Now, at the age of over 70, when he has more time, he participates in acting in films and spends time for himself, enjoying planting trees, taking care of pets... He said, the love for the profession has "soaked in his blood", he is willing to accept filming scenes in far away places, difficult travel... because "this profession is a passion, a love, so he will probably do it until he can't do it anymore".

Try new things

People's Artist Le Khanh stated her opinion: "My profession has no concept of retirement." Her journey after stopping working at the Youth Theater is considered proof of this. Not only acting in films, she is also busy with the role of training a new generation of actors for the current film market.

Staying at home too much is not good for your health. I teach to pass on some experience to the next generation and to keep myself busy instead of just sitting around. If there are any movies, I still have time to take them.

Meanwhile, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung built a TikTok channel with more than 275,000 followers and more than 4.9 million likes. His posts often share about daily life, impressing with charm and humor.

In addition to "pocketing" many new roles, People's Artist Trung Anh chose to find joy through teaching at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. He said that life has not changed much after retirement, and is even busier with projects. "Staying at home too much is not good for your health. I teach to pass on some experience to the next generation, and to give myself the feeling of always being busy compared to just sitting in one place. If there are films, I still have time to accept them comfortably," he confided.

People's Artist Ta Minh Tam affirmed that he is still an artist and is always ready to contribute and serve the audience. He affirmed: "When people no longer want to listen to me sing, I will stop. As long as the audience likes it, I will continue to work." People's Artist Ta Minh Tam still maintains his teaching job at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, but not as much as before. According to him, that is his way of finding joy and at the same time passing on his experience to the next generation. "I want to maintain my attachment to the old place, where I have worked for nearly half a century, and I will contribute whatever I can," he confided.

For many people, retirement means having to put aside all professional activities to rest and enjoy old age. However, for many artists, retirement does not mean the end of their artistic journey but opens up new opportunities and interesting new experiences.
