On November 2, the People's Committee of An Thi Town (An Thi District, Hung Yen ) issued a notice to find relatives of the abandoned newborn baby girl.
Previously, at around 3pm on November 1, a resident passing through a field in Mai Xuyen village, near TL 376 (An Thi town) discovered a red plastic basket on the side of the road. When he checked, inside was an abandoned newborn baby girl.
In addition to some items, inside the basket was a letter with the content: "Currently, I gave birth to an unwanted child, the result of a blind marriage. Now that I have given birth to a child, I am unable to raise it, due to difficult economic conditions and circumstances. Now, I leave the child here, if anyone is destined and sees it, please adopt the child and help me take care of him."
Where people discovered an abandoned newborn baby girl
At the time of discovery, the baby girl was about 1 month old. After being examined by medical staff, the baby girl's health was found to be normal.
The girl is currently being temporarily handed over to the person who discovered her to raise. The People's Committee of An Thi Town said that if the required notification period expires and no relatives come forward to claim the girl, the local government will coordinate with relevant agencies to complete the procedures for people to adopt the girl.
