Comrade Nguyen Minh Quang, born on October 15, 1953, native of Duc Linh commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province, former member of the Party Central Committee, 10th and 11th terms, former Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, former Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Central agencies, former Permanent Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , passed away on February 12, 2025 (ie January 15, At Ty year), at the age of 73.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Quang, with 45 years of Party membership, has made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; was awarded the Second Class Independence Medal, First Class Labor Medal and many other noble titles and awards by the Party and State.
