In the past, just watching a touching film, looking at a beautiful photo, listening to Calling the Sun (by musician Trinh Cong Son) made their hearts flutter. Have you heard someone say, "losing emotions means losing a lot!". That is when we have gone through a path filled with love; that is when foolish infatuations are filled with comparisons and calculations; that is when the mind can no longer remember those sweet early autumn days of the past, when we sat by the window listening to Ngoc Lan sing, hands touching hands...

You remember the autumn photos he sent you, in a faraway land. They were as beautiful as the famous Levitan's golden autumn painting that melted many romantic souls. You thought that only there was autumn. Every time you looked at the photos, your mind drifted to a distant future world , wishing that one day you could join the rhythm of life on that autumn road filled with golden leaves.

But then time passes, everything changes. One day, you return all your memories to the summer sky and learn to forget. That is when you have gone through the stormy days, your heart is at peace again. Suddenly you realize that you don't need to dream of Europe, you can still enjoy a full, heartbreaking autumn right on the road you walk home every day, or just a small corner in your own quiet garden. That is when you calm down to observe and feel, love more what exists and is close around you. No need to go far, autumn walks with you in the pale sunlight, in the wind blowing your messy hair.

Today, you choose to sit outside, under the old tamarind tree to watch the leaves sway in the air. Strangely, until the end of their lives, the leaves still devote themselves to a wonderful dance in the air, before dissolving into mother earth to transform into nutrients to nurture new green buds.
