Many unique and attractive activities at Cultural Week

With the theme " Ha Nam - Journey of Connection", Ha Nam Culture - Tourism Week 2023 will have many attractive cultural, artistic and tourism activities, expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.

Tam Chuc tourist area is the venue for the opening ceremony of Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2023.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam province said that the Ha Nam Culture - Tourism Week 2023 and the Vietnam - Japan Traditional Art Performance Exchange Program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam diplomatic relations (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023) will take place from May 12 to 20 with many unique and attractive activities.

With the theme “Ha Nam - Journey of Connection”, the event will have many attractive cultural, artistic and tourism activities, expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.

The opening ceremony of the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2023 took place at 7:00 p.m. on May 14 at Tam Chuc Tourist Area (Ba Sao town, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province). At the ceremony, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Japan presented commemorative medals and a Kyogen comedy performance by the Japanese Traditional Art Troupe; announced and awarded the decision to recognize 2 treasures and 4 relics and scenic spots as National Treasures and National Monuments; and an art program with the theme "Pride of Ha Nam" with the participation of many artists.

The program is expected to attract about 10,000 delegates, tourists and residents.

On May 19, there was a conference to promote investment and tourism development in Ha Nam province with the theme "Ha Nam - Connecting Journey" organized by the People's Committee of Ha Nam province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The 2023 Ha Nam Hot Air Balloon Festival, taking place from May 12 to May 16, 2023, is a large-scale event, held for the first time in Ha Nam. The hot air balloon performance will be combined with music and impressive effects.

At the event, visitors will enjoy a welcome art program and experience hot air balloon flying. Along with that, there will be cultural, tourism, culinary events... and experience the space of Phu Ly - Ha Nam walking street.

In addition, the event also includes the exhibition of "National treasures and typical antiques of Ha Nam province", the exhibition "Buddhist sculptures through the collection of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum", the National Festival of good stage art excerpts in 2023; the 2023 Ha Nam Province Open Sports Dance Tournament, the National Women's Futsal Championship and the Freestyle Wrestling Tournament; Launching the Family Learning Contest with the theme "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation" and the Discussion on Vietnamese - Japanese family culture; Organizing the Red River Delta - Ha Nam Industry and Trade Fair 2023...

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam province said that the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2023 and the Vietnam - Japan Traditional Art Performance Exchange Program aim to introduce and honor the beauty of traditional culture, the exchange, close relationship and friendship between the two countries and two peoples, between Ha Nam province and Japanese localities and organizations, and at the same time promote the introduction, promotion and attraction of tourists and investors to Ha Nam province.
