At the press conference to inform about the 1st Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term organized by the Da Nang City Party Committee on the morning of September 12, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City Nguyen Thu Phuong informed about a number of large-scale cultural and artistic activities taking place on this occasion.
Accordingly, two large-scale art programs with the theme "Da Nang Aspiration" will take place on the evenings of September 18 and 19 at March 29 Square (Hoa Cuong Ward) and March 24 Square (Ban Thach Ward).
These two art programs have the same content and scale, directed by Meritorious Artist Quang Hao, with a duration of 120 minutes, bringing together many famous artists such as singer Isaac, Hoang My An, Dinh Trang, Lia Ngoc Nhung, and the Yellow Stars orchestra, vHz String & Brass.
With three main chapters: Love song of the country - Soul of the homeland of Quang - Aspiration of Da Nang , the event promises to bring a unique artistic picture, affirming the city's aspiration to rise in the new era.
In addition to the two large-scale programs, the city also carries out many other cultural and artistic activities throughout the area.
For example, community performances on both banks of the Han River include street Tuong performances, traditional instrument ensembles, singing Bai Choi, youth art playgrounds, cultural exchanges - folk dance performances. Art units such as Trung Vuong Theater, Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater, City Cultural - Cinema Center... will directly participate.
Library and exhibition activities include Fine arts exhibition "Young Fine Arts - Da Nang 2025" (from August 26 to September 30 at the Museum of Fine Arts); Reading Culture Festival (from September 8 to 14 at the General Science Library); display of information resources and photo documents (from September 15 to 16 at the Da Nang General Science Library and Quang Nam Library).
The grassroots art program includes performances of original Tuong plays, folk music and drama, and mobile propaganda programs in communes and wards in the city, jointly implemented by many art units.
There are also sports activities taking place such as sports tournaments; traditional boat racing; bicycle racing...
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, these cultural and artistic activities not only create a vibrant atmosphere, spreading the spirit of welcoming the Congress, but also are an opportunity for the community to immerse themselves in the diverse and rich cultural life of Da Nang.
The 1st Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will take place over 3 days (September 16-18) with the participation of 550 delegates, including 450 official delegates and 100 invited guests.
The theme of the Congress is: “Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting cultural identity, revolutionary tradition, great solidarity and development aspirations; building a civilized and modern Da Nang city with high quality of life, becoming a growth pole of Vietnam, and entering a new era of national development with the whole country” . The motto of the Congress is “Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development”.
