Hanoi supports 100 billion VND for 12 provinces affected by storm No. 10

(Chinhphu.vn) - With the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country", up to now, Hanoi has allocated 100 billion VND from the City Relief Fund to support provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters for 12 provinces and cities affected by storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi).

On the afternoon of October 2, at the launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 10 by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, comrade Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, on behalf of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, presented 100 billion VND to support 12 provinces and cities affected by storm No. 10.

Previously, on the same afternoon, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City issued Document No. 100/TTr-MTTQ-BTT on continuing to support people in the provinces to overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 10.

According to the Report, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City proposed to allocate 45 billion VND from the Hanoi City "Relief" Fund to support people in Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Lang Son, Cao Bang , Hung Yen, and Phu Tho provinces to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.

Specifically, support for Lao Cai province is 10 billion VND, Tuyen Quang province is 10 billion VND, Son La province is 5 billion VND, Lang Son province is 5 billion VND, Cao Bang province is 5 billion VND, Hung Yen province is 5 billion VND, Phu Tho province is 5 billion VND.

The entire amount of support will be transferred by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to the "Relief Fund" accounts of Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Hung Yen, and Phu Tho provinces to support affected households to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Along with the above support, the Hanoi City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee sent letters of condolences to all officers, soldiers and people of the 7 affected provinces and cities.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, in recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and its aftermath, many provinces and cities have suffered serious damage to people and property. In Hanoi, storm No. 10 has also deeply flooded many roads and houses, disrupting people's lives.

Along with supporting the people of the Capital in the area affected by storms and floods, with the spirit of "Mutual love and affection", "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country", and at the same time showing the sharing of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital with the people of the provinces affected by natural disasters, Hanoi has allocated the City Relief Fund to support provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

In which, phase 1: Hanoi supports 55 billion VND for 5 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Quang Tri, Thanh Hoa; Phase 2: 45 billion VND for 7 provinces: Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Hung Yen, Phu Tho. The total support amount is 100 billion VND.
